In 2012, Memphis native Brandon McCullough set out on a new adventure by starting his own roofing company, Pinnacle Roofing, and Restoration. Inspired by his previous employer, a local home builder who taught him all facets of the construction industry, Brandon wanted to create a legacy for his own family while serving clients in the city he loves.

In the four years since Brandon began operating Pinnacle Roofing and Restoration, the company has seen steady growth, increasing the business by over 300%. Much of this success is due to Brandon’s strong foundation of working for one of the city’s premier home builders. This experience taught him how to make, and keep, truly satisfied customers. By understanding the ins and outs of the complex roofing industry, Brandon and his team are able to bring high-quality craftsmanship to each and every home and building they work on.

Brandon is only one part of this successful equation, however. The other is his wife, Ashley, who founded Pinnacle Roofing and Restoration along with Brandon. Ashley ended up in Southaven, MS in 2008, after her family was forced to evacuate their New Orleans home due to Hurricane Katrina. It was there that she met Brandon, and the pair married a year later. Today, they are not only business partners, but parents as well. Carly and Nolan, at 3 and 1.5 years old, keep them almost as busy as Pinnacle does!

When they aren’t wrangling roofing contracts, Brandon and Ashley love to explore what Memphis has to offer its families. Their favorite places to grab a bite to eat are Central BBQ and the Memphis Pizza Cafe, and they can often be seen in the company of their kids taking in the sights at the Memphis Zoo, or checking out what the Children’s Museum of Memphis has going on. They enjoy the long summer days of the Mid-South when Brandon can take full advantage of it not getting dark until 8 p.m. or later. And although winter brings its own challenges, often cutting production in half, he doesn’t mind the occasional snow day with the family (as long as it’s only very occasionally!)
